Tzeva Adom – Color Red

I don’t know who or why they came up with it – perhaps they thought it was more calming to hear a voice say, “Color Red; Color Red; Color Red.”

Please take a moment and see this video – Tzeva Adom – in this case – 20 seconds on the clock…you hear the impact. This is a school…but notice something else – notice how people stand to encourage others to get to safety…and listen to the babies cry at the end…this is terror.

  1. Paula, it used to be Shahar Adom – at the beginning, but then the residents who had children called Shahar asked it to be changed. The army changed it to Tzeva Adom. (Most “vatikim” will remember the call of Shahar Adom and it took us a while to acclimatize. (once again another soldier’s mother near Gaza)
