About Katushyas

Hizbollah's "choice of weapon" for this war in the north is the katushya rocket and similar weapons.

These weapons are a telling choice because they are:

  • Indiscrimminate - they are aimed at a city or an area of the city, without regard to who is there. These rockets have hit schools, hospitals, apartment buildings and train stations. The goal is murder - the method simply cruel.
  • Loaded to kill - each rocket is loaded with tiny metal balls that upon impact become missiles of death and destruction. Beyond the initial impact, these are the real threat to life and property.
  • Meant to terrorize - rockets are sent throughout the day and the night, at no particular city at any particular time. Beyond the destruction and the intent to kill, the goal is to keep almost 2 million people in constant fear of where and when the next rocket will hit.

Kassem PowerPoint

A site about Israel, being Jewish and living in a world where things aren't always bright and shiny, but where there is always hope that tomorrow will be better.

This site is dedicated to the people who inspire me to stop what I am doing and write.

To my husband, to my children. To my parents and sister and brother, and their families. To my brothers-in-laws and sisters-in-law.

To the victims of terrorism over the last few years.

To the soldiers of Israel.

To mothers.

To the Jews who are no more, and to the Jews yet to be.

To those around the world who understand that the path to peace is not reached through violence, to my Arab friends and neighbors.

To my international friends and email pals...

in short, this site is dedicated to those who have touched my life, and in so doing, have brought forth my words.
