  • March: During a memorial ceremony marking the anniversary of the attack on the Israeli Embassy in Buenos Aires, two youths were arrested for shouting anti-semitic slogans nearby. According to witnesses, the youths yelled: “Kill all the Jews”.
  • April: The DAIA lodged a complaint that about thirty tombstones were desecrated at the Jewish Cemetary in the old agricultural Jewish village UBAJAY in the ENTRE RIOS Province. The shattered tombstones were discovered by a local inhabitant who went to visit the grave of a relative last Sunday. The DAIA demanded that the pólice and justice authorities of the province deploy every possible effort to investigate the incident.
  • April: About ten tombstones were desecrated at the Jewish Cemetary of ALGARROBOS in the CARLOS CASARES area of the BUENOS AIRES Province. This is the second desecration this month after the desecration of the cemetary at ENTRE RIOS. The cemetary at Carlos Casares has been declared a National Historical Treasure and is the second oldest in the Province. Some of the shattered tombstones date from the end of the 19th Century.
  • July: Twenty-eight grave plaques were stolen, seven of which belonged to victims of the 1994 AMIA bombing. Plaques and photographs of several graves were stolen at the Jewish cemetery La Tablada, in the Province of Buenos Aires.

A site about Israel, being Jewish and living in a world where things aren't always bright and shiny, but where there is always hope that tomorrow will be better.

This site is dedicated to the people who inspire me to stop what I am doing and write.

To my husband, to my children. To my parents and sister and brother, and their families. To my brothers-in-laws and sisters-in-law.

To the victims of terrorism over the last few years.

To the soldiers of Israel.

To mothers.

To the Jews who are no more, and to the Jews yet to be.

To those around the world who understand that the path to peace is not reached through violence, to my Arab friends and neighbors.

To my international friends and email pals...

in short, this site is dedicated to those who have touched my life, and in so doing, have brought forth my words.
